I found this online while I was searching for political cartoons on citizen journalism to make the banner for this. As light hearted as this illustration is, it has a lot of implications for today's society. The age of the internet and social media has greatly expanded our freedom of speech and has exposed us to a wealth of information. While this is important, I think one of the most crucial aspects of the digital age is that it has embodied all of us with the responsibility to make our voices heard. Technology has finally given citizens the ability to express concern, question their leaders, praise samaritans, and everything in between. Use it.
