Do we really need Elements of Citizen Journalism?

I say no. Since citizen journalism is so flexible and relaxed, I think that it does not require its own elements. Citizen Journalism itself can be left to so much interpretation. What would any elements accomplish? I think it would be too difficult to get anyone to agree on a set topics. I know our own group had difficulty trying to come up with some just because each word could be interpreted differently.

Does this make sense or is my blabbering just a bunch of gibberish?
